Oman is beginning to ignite the weather. It's sad for me because I couldn't wear my awesome jackets whenever I go out. It seems only yesterday that coldness wraps around our bodies but alas, its summer. And any season is always a good time to play!
Unfortunately, I'd never played any console or PC game during the past month because of a lot of reasons. This lead me to even want to find time to play. So, here are some tips on how to find time for gaming.
1. Finish all your work.
Accomplishing your job that needs to be done early will also give you more time to play. Focus on your task and prioritize the things that you have to complete before any gaming session. You wouldn't want to be interrupted whenever you're in the middle of the game don't you? That's why you need to wash the dishes, clean the room, finish your homework, your take you job and other responsibilities that are important. Remember, gaming is just there and won't run away from you.
2. 30 minute break
Sometimes, when you are studying or you're already burnt out. It's best to stop, rest and maybe play a video game. I don't know about you, but this helps you to keep out of stress and continue later on on studying or working. I suggest only light gaming so you won't get addicted while playing. I know, its almost as if it contradicts the first advise but take note, its only around 15-10 minutes break to recuperate from your stressful activity. One game I would suggest for 10-15 minutes is Vain Glory.
3. While they're asleep.
What better way to play when there are no distractions. Yes, when all are asleep. Caution though, do not play any MOBA or any multiplayer games during this time. This games will definitely wake up your housemates or family due to your rage or lag that you'll encounter. Too much clicking and keyboard mashing will absolutely let your wife shut down your computer. What I would suggest is that you should play single player games or RPG which does not involve communicating and multiplayer.
Of course, even though you are a gamer you should know and give priority on which will be important. It's ok not to game in a day. Trust me. I know it's hard at first but be patient and practice discipline. Gaming gives you joy and entertainment but they don't pay you for it. Unless you are a popular streamer or an esports athlete. Playing casually is ok and in the long run, you'd be playing soon with your children and your could discipline them to on their gaming habits.
