Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It's About time is now Live! In some countries

I know you are getting excited and can here the phrase, "the zombies are coming.." along with a catchy tune which gets stuck in your head while playing it. But for those who are in Australia and in New Zealand, the wait is over and it's about time!

Plants vs Zombies 2: It's About time has been released and launched last July 9, 2013 in Australia and New Zealand and it's free! But why the delay in other countries? PopCap's Senior Producer, Allen Murray revealed in an interview with Polygon that the company is making sure of the game's internal systems won't break under pressure when the game will launch.

In the interview, Murray said, "With Plants vs. Zombies 2 were taking advantage of a lot of newer technologies". "If you're connected to the internet, you can save your progress and share accounts across multiple devices - and we need to make sure those systems, along with our ability to stream that content to players, works."

Well, you definitely can't blame them as they are really making sure that the players worldwide would not be disappointed with some bugs and glitches while playing Plants vs. Zombies 2. In addition, PVZ2, as most of the games now requires an internet connection to play it which is why the company is worried with the large influx of players which can affect the back end stability of the game. Requires internet connection you say? Well, technically, you won't need an internet connection just to play but instead, some extra online features will be available once connected to the net.

"If we had more players than we could account for, some of the systems might fall over," he added."We want to be double confident, so we're testing it in a smaller region. This allows us to have more controlled testing player base and determine how to keep the game healthy, then map that to the expected growth when we launch worldwide."

You won't be able to fight the Zombies for sometime, but hey, I'm sure PopCap's doing their best to make the game enjoyable and fun without any problems that may encounter in the future.

Here are some of the screen shots while playing the game. Enjoy!

It's really about time!!

Plants Vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time

We have waited so long for the day for Plants Vs Zombies 2 will be released and it's finally official! “Plants vs Zombies 2: It's about time” is the continuation of the awesome flower-defense game in PC and in other mobile devices. The title itself has like a double meaning where in it’s about time they releases it and it’s about time where the game somewhat relates to time travelling.

Definitely one of the Best MOBA in iOS! Solstice Arena

MOBA on Mobile devices

MOBA or Multiplayer Online Battle Arena is one of the most addicting game online. The most popular MOBA is the game called DOTA where it all started in the PC using the Warcraft 3's engine, it was the most successful MOBA ever played. Soon, other game developers created different kinds of MOBA based on DOTA and now, it reached the mobile gaming industry.

The first time I saw a MOBA that looks like DOTA, I was excited to download it and played it. It was called Heroes of Order and Chaos. It was actually a cool game at first, but when time pass by, I felt its getting boring. The slow paced game-play and the graphics makes me want to play a Temple Run game. I mean, the map is so wide and it takes you like forever to get to the enemy turret. This game pretty much copied the concept of DOTA you can't really play this kind of game during your commute or waiting for the bus. The game is great but with this kind of map and pace of the game, its better to play MOBA games on PC.

Solstice Arena Game-play

Yesterday, my wife saw a featured game in the App store and was rated 4.5 stars. And i said, "meh..maybe its another boring DOTA look alike but I still downloaded it. The name is Solstice Arena which is made by Zynga, from the creators of the popular games in Facebook. So when I first tried the tutorial, it has a nice decent graphics and different game-play. It's a nice blend an original map and game concept! I was surprised with this game as you don't have minions or creeps to get your gold from and is only a 3v3 game. Where you get the gold from to buy items is in the middle of the map. If you are familiar with League of Legends game, it  is like the Dominion Map where you are going to capture the chest full of gold and re-spawns at specific times. You can play this game either online for PVP with other players worldwide or play solo or with a friend with AI opponents. You can even customize your hero's items and don't you worry, even if its your first time to play a MOBA game, this has a newbie friendly UI (User Interface). Don't know what items are for your hero? Well it has an auto buy function and recommended items you can buy for the specific hero you are using so you will just sit back and enjoy the game.

Solstice Arena Map

The map of Solstice Arena is really amazing. The concept, the graphic and originality makes this a powerful
and fun game. The Solstice Arena Map is what it should look like in a mobile game where it won't take you an hour to play. The goal is to destroy the main turret located inside the base and on the way, you need to destroy the first 3 turrets. Gold or money can also be found in the middle where you'll be fighting for it to have a good item to crush your opponents.

Solstice Arena Team play

Solstice Arena, like League of Legends needs teamwork. Hero's have different roles in the game and you should know your role in the game for your team to win. Basically its just 3v3 so team composition is important. One should be having tons of damage, another should have a strong armor or "tank" to protect the attack damage carry and receive damages from enemies and lastly, the support, which can make your team survive in fights, the caster and the healer of the team.

Solstice Arena is one of the best mobile game I played. You can download it on your iOS devices (too bad for Android users) for free! There are mini transactions in game to buy heroes or skins but playing it will also have "Valor points" to buy the heroes you want. I'm pretty sure I missed some of the other features of this game but you'll going to find it out once you played it. I've even never experience a bug or a lag during the game, which is so good! For more details on the game, visit their website at http://www.solsticearena.com/

This is an awesome game to play in your iPad and when you finished downloading it, be sure to add me "GenosX" in game. See you then! You can download the game here which is available for iPhones, iPad and iPod touch!

Here is the official trailer of Solstice Arena:
