Why I downloaded Pokemon Y
Pokemon X and Y is the sixth generation of the main series
of Pokemon games. Developed by Gamefreak and published by Nintendo for the 3DS
and 2DS, this game is one of the fastest selling Nintendo game of all time
where more than 4 million units was sold worldwide in just 2 days. I’ve been
looking for reviews about the game and rated the game 4.5/5 or 9/10 which means
it is really awesome or great. That is why I was tempted to buy it digitally on
the Nintendo eShop and did not regret it.
It’s been awhile since I held on to my Nintendo 3ds for a
long time. It’s almost like I don’t touch my 3ds anymore because I finished all
the games I bought which includes The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time,
Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D. And now, Pokemon Y
which I recently bought, lets me hold on to my 3DS and can’t stop playing 24/7!
I felt nostalgic when I started to play this game. It has
been a long time since I played a Pokemon game. My first pokemon game was
Pokemon Red Version where my best friend since grade school influenced me into
playing this game. This is the first generation of Pokemon which includes the
three of the starter Pokemon: Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasar. I finished the
game but I was unsuccessful in completing my Pokedex. Pokemon Y is completely
different since the pokemon game I played and right now, I’ve been playing it
for weeks and I still only have 2 badges as of now.
There are a lot of new features of Pokemon Y which includes
online battling, trading and a whole new level of training. Unlike any other
Pokemon games, Pokemon Y lets your pokemon train not only through battles but
with a mini-game called Super Training where you can increase the Pokemon’s
Stats. This brings a new level of training your pokemon. So if you fought the
same pokemon with the same level with other trainers, it now depends how strong
his stats and affections are.
The game has so much more to offer which I could not write
it all in one blog. I’ve yet to finish the game as I am currently exploring
towns and cities with my bike and roller skates, collecting pokemons day and
night, training them and trading online with mostly Japanese players. I don’t know where my adventure in the game
leads me to so I guess I would just #waitforit.
